Analysing the Farhangian University with Emphasis on the Nature of Teaching

Purpose: This research was carried out with the aim of analysing the Farhangian University in Isfahan Province with emphasis on the nature of teaching.Methodology: The method of this research is qualitative by using the discourse analysis approach and the data was collected from lecturers and authorities’ conversation and unstructured interviews. The purposive sampling was used to select 22 lecturers until saturation was reached. The conversation and interviews were written and analysed in three levels of coding process.Findings: Results revealed that it should be paid more attention to human position and his education, the position of Farhangian university and type of attitudes of the country responsible person about this university in structural dimensions; being feasible and practical curriculum units in planner dimensions; and teaching for teaching and using active teaching models in teaching and learning dimensions to nurture professional teachers.Conclusion: Therefore, the conceptual model presented in this study can be employed as a teaching model within the Farhangian University
