The Quality Of Attention To Upstream Documents In Designing And Compiling The Second Grade Experimental Science Curriculum

This research was conducted with the aim of "quality of attention to upstream documents in designing and compiling the curriculum of experimental sciences in the second year of primary school". This research was conducted using a descriptive method. The statistical population of the research in the quantitative part included all curriculum specialists and expert experts who are members of the Curriculum Planning Council for Experimental Sciences in the second year of primary school, as well as all teachers of the teaching members of the experimental sciences in the second year of primary school in the regions of Tehran. The research sample in the quantitative part included: 1- Expert experts who are members of the Curriculum Planning Council for Experimental Sciences in the second year of primary school, whose sample size was equal to the population size of 7 people, 2- Regarding the members of the teaching groups of elementary school teachers in the city of Tehran, given that the list of teachers and members of the teaching groups in the regions is available in the Education Organization, 150 people were identified using the Cochran formula by random selection and using the census method and the questionnaire was provided to them. A field method was used to collect data and a researcher-made questionnaire was used. To determine the validity and reliability of this questionnaire, it was provided to curriculum specialists and expert experts who are members of the Experimental Sciences Curriculum Planning Council Unit of the second year of primary school, as well as teachers who are members of the Experimental Sciences educational groups of the second year of primary school. A single-sample t-test was used to test the respondents' opinions. Based on the results obtained, the teachers of the Experimental Sciences educational group believe that the level of attention to philosophical foundations, the level of attention to psychological foundations, the level of attention to sociological foundations, the level of attention to the goal-setting model based on basic competencies (reason, faith, science, practice, and ethics), the level of attention to scientific and technological literacy, the level of attention to the context-based approach, the level of attention to the active role of the learner, the level of attention to the role of teacher authority, and the level of attention to the principles of policies approved in upstream documents in the process of designing, producing, and implementing the Experimental Sciences curriculum of the second year of primary school are at an average level.
